Professor Dr Dhrubo Jyoti Sen of Shri Sarvajanik Pharmacy College, Mehsana, Gujarat has been honoured by NEHS Jewel of India award and NEHS Gold Medal of Excellence from Nexus Eclat Honours Society of Maryland, USA on July 12, 2014. SSPC congratulates Professor Sen on his success story with full recognition of his work and expect many more accolades and success in his life and wish him a beautiful life ahead with event filled future.
Dr. I. S. Anand, Professor and Head, Department of Pharmacology and Clinical Pharmacy has been approved as a CPCSEA Nominee by Committee for the purpose of control and supervision of experiments on animals (CPCSEA), Ministry of Environment and Forests, Government of India (Animal Welfare Division).
Dr. S. T. Prajapati Received Minor Research Project (MRP) Grant from GUJCOST, Gandhinagar of Rs. 2 lacs for the proposal on “Development of Nanoparticles of selected water insoluble drugs by spraying drying techniques to improve oral bioavailability”.
Dr. JB Dave Attended Indian Pharmacopoiea Commission meeting held at Alembic Pharmaceuticals Ltd on 16.6.2014 presided by Dr. G.N.Singh, Drug Controller General of India (DCGI). The meeting was held for exploring improvements in monitoring and analysis of drugs as well as reviewing 10 monographs in introduction/revision. Dr.J.B.Dave made 3 important suggestions and the same have also been communicated to the commissio.
Dr. JB Dave Participated as delegate in the seminar organized by Indian Drug Manufacturers’ Association on Managing risks for Quality compliance held on 27th June at Worli Mumbai and took active part in panel discussion session towards the end.
Dr. K M Modh has participated in 2nd centralized placement fair for pharmacy organised by Gujarat Technological University during 12-13 July 2014-07-18.
Dr. S. T. Prajapati Attended Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Seminar on “Economic Impact of Counterfeiting and Piracy on Pharma Sector” on June 20, 2014 at CII Gujarat Gas Auditorium, Ahmedabad.
