Prof. (Dr.) I. S. Anand Head, Department of Pharmacology has been awarded RAJIV GANDHI EXCELLENCE AWARD by National Solidarity Council for work in Health Care on February 01, 2014 at New Delhi.
SSPC Pride: SSPC received two gold medals at GTU 3rd convocation 16/01/2014. Ms. Ankini A. Patel and Ms. Bhoomika K. Prajapati received gold medals in M. Pharm Clinical Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Chemistry, respectively. It is noticeable that SSPC got 6 gold medals in 2011 and 4 in 2012. Total 12 gold medals have been received till date. SSPC congratulates them for their endless efforts and wishes more and more success in their future endeavor.
Blood donation camp was organized jointly by Shri Sarvajanik Pharmacy College, Indian Pharmaceutical Association and Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad on 13/03/2014 in association with Voluntary Blood Bank, Mehsana.

· Dr. JB Dave Attended Indian Pharmacopoiea Commission meeting held at Alembic Pharmaceuticals Ltd on 16.6.2014 presided by Dr. G.N.Singh, Drug Controller General of India (DCGI). The meeting was held for exploring improvements in monitoring and analysis of drugs as well as reviewing 10 monographs in introduction/revision. Dr.J.B.Dave made 3 important suggestions and the same have also been communicated to the commission
· Dr. JB Dave Participated as delegate in the seminar organized by Indian Drug Manufacturers’ Association on Managing risks for Quality compliance held on 27th June at Worli Mumbai and took active part in panel discussion session towards the end.
· Dr. K M Modh Has participated in 2nd centralized placement fair for pharmacy organised by Gujarat Technological University during 12-13 July 2014-07-18
